Bed & Breakfast cottage in the Lake of the Woods, Kenora Ontario

We welcome you to enjoy the beauty of our natural setting, take some time for a swim in the lake, sit by the fire or simply sit back on the deck and read a book. You could spend a night in a Kenora hotel, however none offer such a beautiful setting with lake access. Our cottage is conveniently located 20 km west of Kenora Ontario, just off the Trans Canada highway on Granite Lake.
The on site Pinewood Restaurant has a 60 year reputation for quality food and friendly service. As well, we have an unique gift shop in the main lodge full of cottage decorating ideas for you to browse through.



From the cabin, it is just a short walk through towering red and white pines to our sandy beach where you are able to wade into clear water. At the beach you can enjoy the beautiful sunsets before retiring for the night. Small fishing boats can be accommodated at the beach area. Granite Lake is great for snorkeling as well as fishing.
Lake of the Woods fishing is world renowned for Muskie, walleye and pike species. Many of the Lake of the Woods resorts only offer American plan accommodation. Our family rates provide great value for your Lake of the Woods fishing trips.

    two double beds with a
    small pullout in the living room. 
  • We provide a full kitchen with dishes and utensils, a large sized fridge and microwave for those on extended stay.
  • Large deck with propane barbeque & umbrella table.
  • Full three piece bath. Electric heat.
  • Outside fire pit with wood provided.

Granite Lake

We are located on the pristine waters of Granite Lake, 20 minutes west from Kenora, Ontario and 90 min. east of Winnipeg, Manitoba.

The area has a variety of activities to offer. If you plan on being in the area a few days, you can access several other lakes that are close by. There are several golf courses close to us: Kenora Golf and Country Club, Beauty Bay Golf Course and Falcon Lake Golf Course are all just a short driving distance from us. To access Lake of the Woods fishing, Clearwater Bay public boat launch is only two miles down the road.

Lunch and supper are available in our restaurant. Alternatively, the cabin has cooking facilities.

  • B&B Mid week summer rate $47.50 pp based on two or more people staying;  May-June and fall Sept.-Oct. $42.50 pp/night.
  • B&B Mid week summer rate: Single $69.50/night;
    spring May-June and fall Sept.-Oct. Single $64.50/night
  • B&B Weekend rate: $55.00 pp Friday 5:00 p.m. through to
    Sunday 2:00 p.m. based on two or more people staying
  • B&B Long weekends: $55.00 pp Friday 5:00 p.m. through to
    Monday 2:00 p.m. based on two or more people staying
    max of 5 guests.
  • Children under 10 yrs. $12.50 pp/per night.


  • Lake of the Woods Cottage Rental family rates: for weekly/full season/ or summer special 2008

  • Weekly rate max 5 guests: $650.00 (with tax 715.00)
  • Full Season rate max 5 guests: $5500.00 *tax exempt
  • Summer Special rate max 5 guests, choose any two weeks & three spring or fall weekends: $1798.00 (with tax 1977.80)
  • Note:Breakfast is not included with these rates.

    Small dogs are allowed on leash only, however they are not allowed inside the cabin. Bring a kennel.
    Sorry, no cats allowed in the cabin, unless in a travel kennel. Smoking is restricted to the outdoor deck.

    Note: Rates are subject to pst and gst taxes, total of 10%.

  • Bookings are based on availablity. May long weekend is the first weekend for rentals. The last weekend in September is our closing date for the rentals. Pinewood Restaurant and Gift Shop will be open May 2nd to October 20th, 2008. Please bring your own towels for swimming.
