We welcome you to enjoy the beauty of our natural setting, take some time for a swim in the lake, sit by the fire or simply sit back on the deck and read a book. You could spend a night in one of the Kenora hotels, however none offer such a beautiful setting with lake access. Our cottage is conveniently located 20 km west of Kenora Ontario, just off the Trans Canada highway on Granite Lake. Our on site Pinewood Restaurant has a 65 year reputation for quality food and friendly service. As well, we have an unique gift shop in the main lodge full of cottage decorating ideas for you to browse through.
		*From the cabin*, it is just a short walk through towering red and white pines to our sandy beach where you are able to wade into clear water. At the beach you can enjoy the beautiful sunsets before retiring for the night. Granite Lake is great for snorkeling, canoeing and wakeboarding, as well as fishing. Lake of the Woods fishing is world renowned for muskie, walleye and pike and bass species. Many of the Lake of the Woods resorts only offer American plan accommodation. Our family rates provide great value for your Lake of the Woods fishing trips.

Granite Lake We are located on the pristine waters of Granite Lake, 20 minutes west from Kenora, Ontario and 90 min. east of Winnipeg, Manitoba.		The area has a variety of activities to offer. If you plan on being in the area a few days, you can access several other lakes that are close by. To access Lake of the Woods fishing, Clearwater Bay public boat launch is only two miles down the road. There are several golf courses close to us: Kenora Golf and Country Club, Beauty Bay Golf Course and Falcon Lake Golf Course are all just a short driving distance.

Alternatively, the cabin has cooking facilities. B&B Summer rates 2 night minimum: $120.00/night for up to two people, each additional person $25.00 B&B Spring and Fall: May 15-June 15th & after September long; $110.00/night for up to two people, each additional person $25.00 Check-in after 3:00 p.m., check-out 12:00 noon. Long weekends, minimum 3 night stay: check-in after 5:00 p.m. through to Holiday Monday 1:00 p.m. Additional guests up to 5 person maximum: $25.00 each; Children 5 to 13 yrs, $10.00 per night. Pets are allowed for a fee of $15.00 for the two night stay. Dogs must be on a leash, and they are only allowed inside the cabin if in a kennel. Cats are also allowed in the cabin, if in a travel kennel. No animals should be left alone at the cabin please. Continual barking will not be tolerated. Dogs are not allowed in the swimming area at the beach. Smoking is restricted to the outdoor deck. These conditions are strickly enforced. Cancellation must be recieved one week prior to arrival date. Credit card deposit required. Please bring extra towels for swimming. As a general rule, our full week rental requests for July and August have first consideration. Daily rate, 2 night minimum: up to 2 guests: $100.00; 3 guests $125.00; 4-5 guests $139.00/night Weekly rate: Saturday check-in: up to 2 guests: $650.00; 3 guests $695.00; 4-5 guests $745.00/week Family Full Season Rate: May 28th thru to Sept. 5th, 2011: You'll have 100 great summer days! $5695.00* tax exempt. Maximum 5 guests staying at any one time. Guests are supplied with bedding, however must bring own towels. Guests are responsible for laundry and cleaning of the cabin. Laundry facilities are in town. Propane for the bbq is not provided. This rental is best booked one year ahead. Summer Vacation Specials Saves returning guests over 15%! max. 5 guests 2+2 : two weeks and two spring or fall weekends: $1700.00. 1+2 : one week and two spring or fall weekends: $1085.00. Note: Meals are not included with these rates. Pets are allowed for a fee of $35.00 a stay. Dogs must be on a leash, and they are only allowed inside the cabin if in a kennel. Pinewood Restaurant and Gift Shop will be open May 6th to October 16th, 2011.
